Next month will see teams from all over the County take to the hills of Lakeland to compete in this years exciting adventure. This is one of the jewel in the crown events that the Explorer Scout section holds and is a must for every single member to participate in at least once in the Scouting life... Fancy a fun weekend abroad? West Lancs Explorers and
Network are putting on a trip to France in the Autumn halfterm 2008. Guaranteed to be a good laugh, this event will be something a bit different to what is offered in the County at the moment. As much fun as you can cram into a long weekend!

This is a nine-day long activity trip organised by the County Adventurous Activity Teams specifically for the Explorer Scout Section. Explorer Scouts will choose four activities out of five on offer, and spend two days on each activity – with a “day off” in the middle of the week. Some events will be in the form of a journey away from base. There will be many opportunities to complete sections in the Explorer Scout Navigator. The reigns of the Explorer Scouts may now be past over to Hugh Miller but the legend that is Ray is still lives on. The way the huggable loveable rouge's place is history is to be cast in stone is by a tough adventure... more details of the exciting task will be revealed soon.....

This is an amazing oppourtunity to trip around the magical Eurodisney for a day, a shop to you drop extraveganza in the heart of the shopping capital of the world... and you never know you might get to see a woman with a rather interesting smirk on her face!!
